This course is suitable for anyone who comes into contact with children in their work or voluntary activity. It will provide you with a thorough understanding of how to recognise child abuse, the forms of abuse, child development, responding to disclosure, acting on concerns, and reporting abuse. It is specifically designed to give you a better understanding of what the different types of child abuse are, what signs to look out for and what actions to take. There is an assessment at the end where you will be required to pass by achieving a score of 75% or above to receive a certificate.
